Iver Johnson is back and better than ever with their new line of 1911 handguns. The Eagle model employs the same trusted and true 1911 platform developed by Colt in the early 20th century as the basis for this line. Price point, reliability and accuracy are paramount for the users shooting experience.
The Iver Johnson Eagle comes with all the bells and whistles. Some of the standard features on the Eagle model include the fully adjustable sights, dual serration on both the front and back of the slide, a slightly beveled magwell, a lowered and flared ejection port and beaver tail grip safety with memory bump.
All Iver Johnson handguns are made with steel in the Series 70 build. They are made with a forged slide and a cast frame, which are in both instances CNC machined. All models have MIM parts and the slide and frame are hand fitted for a precise fit that leaves nothing in the way of wiggle room. The out of the box accuracy is superb.
The Eagle is manufactured by Iver Johnson Arms in Rockledge, Florida.
